Table for location of i-Size child seats

The table gives a recommendation for which i-Size child seats suit which locations, and for what size of child.

The child seat must be approved in accordance with UN Reg R129.

 Note

The availability of child restraint systems as recommended here can vary between regions. If you cannot find a child restraint system as recommended, there is an extensive list of child restraint systems on ANCAP's website: https://www.ancap.com.au/protocols-and-policies.
  1. 1 Polestar recommends that children should travel in rear-facing child restraint systems for as long as possible, at least until 4 years of age.
  2. 2 Polestar recommends: BeSafe iZi Kid X2 i-Size (type approval E4-129R-000002).
  3. 3 Adjust the backrest so that the head restraint does not interfere with the child seat.
  4. 4 For child restraint systems with support legs, adjust the seat to a more upright position.
  5. 5 Varies depending on market.
