Resetting windows
If you're experiencing issues with the power-operated windows, you may need to reset them. This allows the car to recalibrate the window position, restoring both pinch protection and automatic movement.
Important
The pinch protection system will not work properly until the windows have been reset after losing calibration.
For a window to reset it needs to relearn the start and end positions. To do this you fully close and open the windows manually a couple of times.
Make sure that all windows are in the closed position.
Lightly pull the switch on the door panel for at least 5 seconds.
Lightly push the same switch for at least 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 a few times.
Check to make sure that the window operates correctly after following the reset steps. The window should close fully when you pull the switch all the way and release. If the problem persists, contact Polestar Customer Support.
