Finding the vehicle identification number
There are several ways to find your car's unique vehicle identification number.1 You might need your car's VIN if you contact Polestar about any questions or problems regarding your car.
Find the number in one of the following ways:
- In the centre display.
- In the Polestar app.
- On a label on the dashboard, close to the windscreen's lower edge. It can typically be read from outside the car.
- In the car's registration documentation.
- By contacting a service technician who can retrieve it through the on-board diagnostics socket.
