Locking and unlocking the car using the Polestar 1 app
Polestar 1 app shows you the current lock status, and you can both lock and unlock your car remotely.
Locking the car
Go to the Home tab.
Select Doors and locks. Here you can view the current lock status for the car.
Select Lock.
The car's doors are locked.
When you lock the car, the anti-theft alarm will be armed. Note that for safety reasons, the car can still be opened from the inside.
Unlocking the car
Go to the Home tab.
Select Doors and locks. Here you can view the current lock status for the car.
Select Unlock.
Enter your Polestar ID password. It is the same password that is used to log in to the Polestar 1 app.
After acknowledging in the Polestar 1 app, press the side door handle to unlock the car.
Now the car's doors can be opened.
Messages
You can receive messages in the Polestar 1 app about the lock status of the car, among other things.
