Connect the car to the Internet via car modem (SIM card)

It is possible to establish an Internet connection via the car modem and a personal SIM card (P-SIM).

To get started with Polestar Connect you need to carry out certain preparations.

Choose whether the car should call Polestar Assistance or the emergency call centre in an emergency situation.

For security reasons, a PIN code is used to identify that a person is authorised to perform Polestar Connect services in a certain car.

If the main battery is de-energised, the Polestar Connect standby battery is used as a backup battery so that the system can still be used.

Polestar Connect services may vary when driving between countries.

To save the battery, the Polestar Connect system is programmed to shut down when the car is not used for long periods.

In the event of change of ownership it is important to reset personal settings and user data in the car to the original factory settings.
