Activating Digital Key*
To use your phone as a key, the Digital Key function must first be activated in the Polestar app.
Note
The Polestar app in the phone to be used must have been connected to the vehicle before Digital Key can be activated.
Make sure that the vehicle is somewhere with mobile coverage and that your phone has an Internet connection.
Open the Digital Key app via the app view

Log into the Polestar app.
Scan the QR code in the vehicle's center display.
Place a key tag (Key Fob) in the cup holder. Then follow the instructions in the app and on the center display.
