Polestar ID is a personal ID that gives you access to a range of services using a single username and password.

Create a Polestar ID

A Polestar ID can be created in various ways.

Adding a new vehicle to your Polestar ID

If you purchased your vehicle from Polestar, it will be automatically registered to your Polestar ID. No further action is required. If you did not purchase your vehicle through Polestar, you must claim ownership to get full use of your vehicle.

Removing a vehicle from your Polestar ID

If you have sold your vehicle, you can remove it from your Polestar ID.

Problems logging in with Polestar ID

Change of market when importing or relocating

If you import a vehicle or move to another country with your vehicle, you should contact Polestar Customer Support for assistance registering the vehicle in your new country. If you do not do this then you may experience that apps, the Polestar app, software downloads and other online services are affected and do not work correctly.
