Stopping DC charging
You can stop the charging process at any time.
Important
Stop the charging session before attempting to unplug the cable from the vehicle charging port. If you do not, you may cause damage to the cable or to the system.
Press Stop charging in the center display to stop charging.
The charging is stopped.
Unlock the charging cable using the handle on the cable.
Unplug the charging cable from the vehicle.
If available, reattach the protective cover on the cable connector.
Reattach the charging port protective cover then press Close charge port in the center display to close the charging lid.

You can also close the charging lid by pressing the button located inside the port on the right side.
When the charging cable is unplugged from the vehicle, the lid will automatically close after a short period of time. If you start driving and the charging lid is open, it will close automatically.
However, there are also situations where the charging lid doesn’t close automatically. If you remove the charging cable but the vehicle is in sleep mode and no key is detected near the vehicle, the charging lid may stay open until the vehicle is woken up.
