Sound settings
The audio settings view has four tabs: zones, surround, equalizer and volume.
There is also an additional headrest tab for changing the front headrest speaker settings.
Zones
There are three zones that you can choose from to change your listening experience: all, driver and rear. All is the default setting and doesn't focus the sound in a particular direction. It provides a neutral sound focus so that occupants in the front and rear seats have the same sound experience. You can also choose to direct the sound only towards the driver or the rear seats.
You can select quiet zones that will mute the sound in a specific part of the passenger compartment. You can mute the sound for everyone in the vehicle except the driver; just mute the front sound for the passenger compartment or mute the sound for passengers in the rear seats.
Surround
You can select a surround sound intensity or turn surround sound off. The three intensity levels are low, standard and high.
Headrest
Standard | All sounds are played through the driver's headrest speakers, as well as the rest of the vehicle. |
Driving | Navigation and phone sounds are only played through the driver's headrest speakers. |
Private | Navigation, phone and media sounds are only played through the driver's headrest speakers. |
Standard | Media sounds are played through the passenger's headrest speakers in surround sound. |
Stereo | Media sounds are played through the passenger's headrest speakers in stereo, rather than surround sound. |
Equalizer
You can change the tone of the in-vehicle sound using the six adjustment levels. There are also four EQ presets available to choose from: Dynamic, Soft, Voice and Custom. When Custom is selected, you can reset the equalizer values back to 0 by pressing Reset.
