Using your phone in the vehicle
You can use your phone via the center display, steering wheel buttons and voice control.
Important
Make sure that you comply with all local laws and regulations regarding mobile phone use while driving.
Note
You need to connect your phone to the vehicle via Bluetooth and accept the corresponding phone settings permissions to be able to use these features.
Calling
There are a few different ways you can make and receive phone calls while in your vehicle. You can:
- accept and reject incoming calls using the steering wheel buttons or center display
- call someone while driving by asking the digital assistant to make the call for you
- use the in-vehicle phone app via the center display to call contacts or type a phone number in using the on-screen number pad.
When you have an ongoing call, it will be shown in the center display. If you open the in-vehicle phone app when you have an ongoing call, you can:
- mute and unmute your microphone
- change the sound input and output, such as through the vehicle or your mobile phone's microphone and speakers
- end the call

If you receive a second phone call while in the middle of an ongoing call, you can:
- reject the incoming call
- end the ongoing call and answer the second call
- put the ongoing call on hold and answer the second call.
If you put the first call on hold, you can switch between the two calls 
or create a conference call and speak to both callers at the same time.
Looking through and searching for your contacts
Use the in-vehicle phone app to search for a specific contact by:
- pressing the search symbol
- going to the contacts tab and typing their name
- going to the number pad tab and entering their number.
You can also just ask the digital assistant to find the contact you are looking for.
