Manually opening the charging port
If the charging port doesn't open via the center display or charging lid, you can open the charging port manually.
You can usually open the charging port by going to via the center display. The charging port can also be opened by pressing the rearmost edge of the charging lid.
Important
This is only an emergency solution and is not recommended for regular use.
Make sure the vehicle is turned off.
Note
Do not scratch the paint of the vehicle when prying the lid off.
Open the charging lid by prying it off from the right edge. You can do it by hand or by using a tool.
The charging lid opens.
